My career encompasses thirty years in the planning, development and financing of senior living communities across the country. As one of the founding principals of Sawgrass Partners, my personal goal was to create a more flexible, customized option for the aging services industry― a development and advisory firm where the client can choose from a menu of options to best fit their situation; where the client’s existing talents and strengths are utilized in partnership with ours to create success; and where a long term relationship develops and continues for years to come. This personalized service that acknowledges the unique aspects of each individual client is what brings me the greatest pleasure in my work. Sawgrass Partners is comprised of a very talented group of senior living professionals, and it is our combined expertise, commitment and personal approach that make us unique.

Mark Streicher

Principal

My experience in the health care industry spans over thirty years. I’ve delivered a wide range of advisory services for senior living providers covering strategy, development and repositioning, market research, financial planning and feasibility studies, benchmarking, valuations and financial advisory services. I also have extensive audit and accounting experience. Launching and leading Sawgrass Partners has been my passion since its inception. I believe that the personal commitment of each Sawgrass team member to the quality and integrity of our services is a key factor in our growth and success as an organization. Making a difference in the senior living industry, making a difference in the success of our clients, making a difference in the lives of the people we serve is what continues to motivate me each day to push above and beyond the ordinary and strive for the extraordinary in all we do.

Kevin Meehan

Principal

My career began as an auditor for companies within the healthcare industry which provided the foundation for my accounting and financial analysis expertise. By transitioning into performing financial feasibility studies for senior living organizations, I developed expertise in the areas of market analysis, project development and operations. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with various industry professionals including architects, investment bankers, contractors, and many other professionals that allow us to provide the best outcomes for our clients. I’ve worked with all kinds of senior living organizations across the country — from the single-site community to large, multi-site organizations — this scope of experience allows me to bring ‘best practices’ expertise to our clients. And underneath this breadth of experience lies the foundation of my personal commitment and the key to Sawgrass Partners’ success…great relationships with everyone we work with on every project. This is why I enjoy what I do and why I’ll always go the extra mile for the clients with whom I work.

Teresa Black

Director of Market Research

For twenty years I’ve partnered with clients to create a vision for the future of their community, helping them sustain the strength of their organization and the commitment to their mission. We all can get caught up in the ‘day-to-day’ and it becomes a challenge to think ahead for the future. All of the research and analysis I do helps clients get where they want to be. Seeing their progress, their successes and impact they have on mature adults and their families — this is what makes me so passionate about working with Sawgrass Partners in the senior housing industry!

Jake Slavik

My responsibilities include delivering strategy, market research, financial planning and development-related services to our clients. In my role prior to joining Sawgrass Partners LLC, I performed financial feasibility studies, strategic financial planning, and executive compensation planning and benchmarking for both single and multi-site senior living organizations. I have been a featured speaker for several LeadingAge southeast state associations and have been published in Mcknights Long-Term Care News. I currently hold a B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
